There's nothing I love more than seeing braids and protective hairstyles on red carpets, and thanks to Chase Infiniti, it's becoming a norm in Hollywood.
The One Battle After Another actress is set to star in Hulu's upcoming drama series, The Testaments, and she joined her co-stars at the show's premiere in Los Angeles on March 31. For the event, she wore a strapless, beige corset dress with a tulle skirt that flared around her waist. She kept her makeup for the night pretty minimal with a barely-there look featuring a touch of eyeliner and mascara and a nude lipstick. Infiniti's hair was pulled off of her shoulders into an elegant braid that was then wrapped around on the top of her head to form a high braided bun. A smaller braid sat at the front of her head, swooping down slightly to create a kiss curl.

Infiniti is pretty used to proving that even trendy braided hairstyles are red carpet-worthy. Over the last few weeks, she's attended a handful of events with her natural hair tucked away in long, wavy box braids. The 25-year-old wore the braids in a free-flowing style when she hit the Academy Awards red carpet last month, and later, when she attended a photocall in London for The Testaments, she pulled them up into a high bun and left a few of her wavy ends loose at the back. Before both of those events, she showed to Essence's Black Women in Hollywood event with her blown-out hair styled in a bow bun with a few braids sweeping over her face to create a side bang.

To achieve a similar look at home, read ahead.
A sleek bun is easier to achieve on blown-out hair. Grab a hair dryer and some heat protectant to get started.
Use a boar bristle brush to smooth your hair into place with no strays or flyaways.
