This morning, Donald Trump made the abrupt and disturbings announcement that transgender individuals will be banned from serving in the U.S. military. "Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail," Trump wrote in a series of tweets.
Despite the general sense of shock and horror in the wake of this news, celebrities were swift to denounce Trump's ban. Here's how they responded on Twitter.
